How Long Will My Tan Last?
You can expect your natural looking tan to last fort 5-7 days depending on your skin type and preparation.
Regular moisturizing will extend your tan’s life.
Prior to Tanning
Shave or clip any long hair on body then exfoliate the skin, face and body. Do not ware any underarm deodorant or perfume or make up. Pay attention to exfoliate rough skin on knees, elbows, ankles. Then apply an oil free moisturizer prior to tanning for best results.
Wear loose dark fitting clothes to wear after tanning as lighter color clothes may stain.
The products we recommend to use are available in the salon, Fake Bake Exfoliate, Oil Free Moisturizer for prior to tanning and after purchase the Fake Bake Body Butter to maintain tan between visits. Airbrush spray-on tanning does not contain a sunscreen. Always apply sunscreen when out outdoors.
After Tanning
Once your tan is applied, you must allow it to dry completely. Do not wet your skin for at least 5 hours after session. Showering the following morning is best, don’t be concerned if some bronzer washes off.
Apply moisturizer after showering, this will keep your tan looking better longer.
Avoid long baths , hot spas, extended swimming sessions and exfoliating products.
